The Seminar will be held at the
University of Colorado in Boulder
from
Friday, June 26, 2009 to
Sunday, June 28, 2009.

You are invited to join us and experience Ki Society teachings by
two most outstanding Ki-Aikido instructors in the United States.

Friday, June 26: 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Saturday, June 27: 9:15am to 11:45am
1:30pm to 4:00pm
Banquet from 6pm to ~9pm *)

New CU-Parking Information:
Lot 436 is free on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
(pdf-map) and $6.75 for a daily pass, Thursday and Friday, or $10.00 weekly, available at registration.
Those arriving Thursday will probably want to get a weekly pass (cheaper than 2 daily passes).

 *) Join your Instructors and your practice partners for a wonderful dinner buffet and a pleasant evening of fun at our Summer Seminar Banquet, Saturday June 27, 2009, starting 6PM at the Millenium Harvest House Hotel's out-door Fire Pit area with the "Boulder Creek Living Room" as a weather backup. It's a short walk from the CU campus and our lodgings.

Please register through Eventbrite by choosing a "free ticket"
(on the bottom of the list) for the Saturday Night Banquet for each person you are registering. If online sign-up won't work for you, you can register by June 24th through email, see below. We cannot take payment for this through Eventbrite. You will pay in class or at the banquet.

An Instructors Intensive Workshop by Kashiwaya Sensei will be held on
Friday, June 26, 9:00am to 4:30pm
at
the RMKS Westminster Dojo, 9038 Marshall Ct., Westminster, CO 80031.

This workshop is for Midland Ki Federation Head and Lead Instructors, and key teaching staff that they invite from their dojo. Other Ki Society Instructors are welcome to attend. They will need permission from their own Chief Instructor and Kashiwaya Sensei. There is no minimum rank required for attendance. This workshop is intended for heads of dojos and others who have had some experience teach on a regular basis. Head and Lead instructors will also receive the information by email.

LODGING in the dorms and meal arrangements have been made with CU Boulder. The choices are described on the Eventbrite registration page. More details and specifics are explained in the "Details" pdf-file (28kb).
There is no registration desk at Crossman Hall, so residence hall check-in will be at Aden Hall desk (very nearby). This Map (pdf, 98kb) shows all relevant building locations on the CU Campus and surroundings.

TRANSPORTATION and PARKING:

TRANSPORTATION: Several options of public transportation and taxis between the Airport and CU are available. We'll try to organize carpooling from/to DIA and to/from Westminster. More information and telephone contact on the "transportation" page.
PARKING: All parking on campus is by permit or pay-as-you-park.You can request a permit as part of the online registration process as you check out.

To assist our organizers and spare them additional work, we prefer that people use our online reservation service at Eventbrite. But if you can not sign up online and need a registration form for printing and mailing, please send an email request to the contact below and we will reply with PDF registration forms attached.
