Midland Ki Federation (MKF) is an operating branch of Shinshin Toitsu Aikido Kai (commonly called Ki Society outside Japan), a multi-national organization teaching Ki and Ki-Aikido in the direct lineage of Koichi Tohei Sensei, founder of Shinshin Toitsu Aikido.

These pages are meant to be a source of information for Ki Society members and all Aikido students interested in Ki Society events, workshops and training related matters. They are also intended to be a primary source of helpful information, requirements and guidelines for the instructors of Midland Ki Federation member dojos.

Midland Ki Federation supports the growth of member dojos (schools) and promotes Ki Society training in the United States, Canada, and elsewhere. We promote the training and continuing development of our member dojo’s instructors and students. Midland Ki Federation helps strengthen the connections between our member schools, and between those schools and Ki Society Headquarters (Shinshin Toitsu Aikido Kai) in Japan.

MKF is guided in these efforts by the direct guidance, instruction, and support of the President and Chief Instructor of Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, Shinichi Tohei Sensei, son to the Ki Society founder, Koichi Tohei Sensei.
